The Internet of Social Things

Here’s a talk I gave at the SoCon 2011 conference last month – you’ll need to give it a few seconds (maybe about 30 seconds in reality) to load, the player doesn’t appear immediately for some reason.

The essence of the talk was how we’ve moved from simply connecting things to the internet to giving them awareness of both themselves and us and how we will have to change our approach to almost everything we build going forward based upon this awareness.
