Windows 8 has a completely re-designed user interface. Microsoft have taken everything that’s great about Windows 7 and improved on it for Windows 8 adding greater security, improved performance and cloud based services. The old style Windows is still there and you can see your traditional desktop view at any time, however there’s a new ‘Start screen’ that gives you quick access to your applications and at-a-glance snapshot of your digital world through live tiles.
