Pink Floyd preserve the album format. Yay for albums!

An article over at Bloomberg says a Judge has decreed that EMI are contractually bound to sell Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety, not as single tracks. Brilliant. A big move in preserving the album format in an age when the Arctic Monkeys think that ‘there’s only music so that there’s new ringtones’. I hope this sends a wider message that an album often needs to be listened to as a whole.
