From people to robots in 12 months?

Whilst I can’t vouch for the authenticity of these videos (as they don’t come directly from an Amazon channel) the sentiment still holds true – the pace with which we’re adopting robot technology is terrifyingly fast. The first video has the line ‘Whilst there’s automation everywhere this is a job largely performed by people.’ The second, dates less than 12 months later is not about people and whilst it doesn’t have a voice over at all, it could say ‘Whilst there’s people everywhere, this is a job largely performed by automatons’. I’m erring on the side of caution and guessing the first vid is from a lot earlier than Dec 2013 however, it is change that’s happened over the course of a few years, not over the course of our lifetimes.
