Midway, a film about plastic and the albatross

Midway is roughly equidistant between North America and Asia, and lies almost halfway around the world from England where I write this. It is also the title of a film being made by Chris Jordan, you can find out more at www.midwayfilm.com.

I wouldn’t be surprised if what gets thrown into the sea here can end up on the opposite side of the globe. The problem of what to do with all this plastic is soul destroying stuff. If you are about to ask Where Can I Recycle Plastic Bottle Tops?then there’s an answer, seems pretty difficult tho IMO. I wonder how long it’ll be till someone tells us how Albatross populations hold an integral role in the balance of the planet. The new bees?
